Honeys of Lake Orta
NATURAL HONEYS
CREATED BY OUR BEES ON THE SHORES OF THE LAKE D'ORTA
Our honey is produced without the use of antibiotics and substances prohibited by law in respect of the environment and
health care.
The hives are carefully managed and prepared so that at the time of flowering they can produce enough honey
you can pick it up for sale.
Our bees are always left with food supplies and only excess honey is taken from them.
Every year we carry out analyses on honey in order to guarantee the consumer the origin, purity and excellence of the product.
BEEKEEPING GOCCE DI MIELE
BY MAURO RUTTO
Ing. Mauro Rutto began his experience in the world of beekeeping in 2012, creating his first apiary composed of 9 alverari.
Now there are 4 apiaries for a total of 27 beehives, all placed on the heights that frame Lake Orta.
The apiaries are of a permanent type so you enhance what the territory offers, interacting with it and following the seasonal rhythms.
Thanks to the work of bees, he creates typical and unique honeys.
Hives are conducted without any use
synthetic chemicals.
In Ghiffa's honeycomb workshop, at the High Verbano Valgrande Beekeepers Association, the manual dispercular
of honeycombs takes place
and the extraction of honey for centrifuge, without thermal treatments that would damage its vitamin and enzyme content.
This allows us to obtain and offer a natural product
just like bees do!
"As the bee collects the juice of the flowers
without damaging its color and scent,
so the wise man dies in the world."

LAND HONEYS
CREATED ON THE SHORES OF THE ORTA LAKE
The geographical shape of Lake Orta allows the production of different varieties of honey: milleflower, chestnut, acacia,
linhoney and oneydecutia.
Our aim is to enhance the production of honeys of the territory, ensuring its excellence to the consumer.
The Seal of Guarantee, present on every confepitor, guarantees the quality of the product and the Italianness of the same.
BEE RECOVERY
ON THE COASTS OF LAKE ORTA
Swarming is a natural phenomenon by which the maintenance of the bee species is carried out.
The recovery of swarms of bees is not trivial. The swarm is the division of a colony of bees, from which the old queen has flown away followed by adult bees laden with dicibo and motivated to search for a new home.
It usually occurs during the spring period, when there is maximum harvest. On a beautiful day the swarm comes out, stopping temporarily near the apiary, using a branch or a hollow trunk.
The duration of this momentary stay is subjective and can last from a few hours up to a couple of days. In fact, the swarm waits for its scouting bees to return with information for the final new abode. In this period of time, which can be more or less long, the beekeeper is able to intervene by proceeding with recovery.
A swarm represents the most docile moment of a colony but an inexpensive hand will find difficulties.
Beekeeping Honey Drops
offers a swarm recovery service within the borders of Lake Orta
because the swarm needs to be collected as soon as possible and in some cases the operation becomes much more complex.
If you are assisted in this phenomenon, call me; I will be happy to help you the service is completely free within 15 km from Agrano.
Beware sometimes those who are not experienced mistake wasps for bees, no problem send me a picture with whatsapp.
